Scene
I watch the birds as they take to the sky
As the golden leaves fall down
Telling all winter is nigh
As sprinkles of snow start covering the ground
Natures creatures running to and fro
Gathering food for winters rest
Listening to the gentle winds blow
Seasons birds building their nests
Children playing with the fresh fallen snow
Building their imagined things
Window lit with that soft Christmas glow
What a feeling of happiness it brings
We thank you God for these gifts of love
Such as this winter blanket stretching far
Sparkling white as heavens doves
Beyond the distant Eastern star

Christmas to be remembered
The virgin white snow covering the land
Children sliding and playing the days long
Main Street all dressed up grand
The playing of seasons carols and songs
This will be a Christmas in our memories to last
For its the finality of this generations years
It will be in the book of time ,molded and cast
For the new millennium's birth is near
Christmas is and should always be
A praise of the birth of Jesus ,the son of our creator
It is through his blood that we are free
No other christmas present could be greater
So let us fill the empty chairs and pews
To sing praise to God on high
For he is the one who will guide us through

Christmas is a time to give and receive
The gift of the holiday spirit
A time for children's laughter at their play
Friends and passer byes with season greetings to say

From the stranger we greet to the children small
The hustle and bustle of shoppers buying

The songs of Christmas Carol's filling the air
The little ones stopping at each shop to stare
In the window just hoping it will be
That shiny new toy under the Christmas tree
But best of all the churches with there seats filled
With congregations of the real meaning instilled
Giving praise in song of the birth of Jesus Christ
Surrounded by Kings and Heavenly Host's divine light
In the spirit of the season may this day be of one
Of great celebration in praise and song
Of the birth of Jesus, God's beggotten son
For whom this time of giving and receiving really belongs.

Christmas to children comes but once a year
Yet! to them such a happy and wonderful event
To us adults it brings back so crystal clear

We think of those who are now in the presence of God
Who's love and protection in our childhood was cast
While they guided our ways along earths sod
This tree of light is the illumination of faith
The very emblem on which a family grows
Its branches spreading and reaching to embrace
Each of our hearts and souls
Each bulb that is lit represents undying love
For the blessings each person recieved
Of which is now showered from Heaven above

Upon the Family Christmas tree
Churches and Chapels crystal and clean
Waiting upon the arrival of each guest
Sunday School teachers rehearsing each scene
Of a Christmas play slated to be this years best
Peace on Earth for the return of all women and men
Who were chosen to protect the lives of all
It is through the meaning of Christmas we send
A prayer of peace as our City and Nations call

Around Christmas time a child will ask
Is there really a Santa Claus ?
So it must be the parents task

The greed of man has destroyed

So to you I must now emplore
To give to children the answer that is right
He is the youth of our younger years
The fantacy of a sleigh and eight reindeer
For my child , Santa you could say
Is God above the bearer of life and love
Children Jesus was born on that night
Surrounded by his fathers eternal love
The manifested stars and heavens light
Its star of the East below the gates above
So my children Santa will live on
