bells echoing the call to rejoice
In celebration of the time Jesus arose from the dead
Children searching frantically with excited voice
Of finding the well hidden Easter eggs
Sunrise services reflective of Jesus on the Cross
Crying out for the forgiveness of all our sins
From the beach of Good Harbor to inward land near lost
To the many homes of the families within
Walking along the shores of Gloucester dressed in fine
With loved ones holding hands close at your side
Taking in the wondrous beauty of God's gift in mind
Thanking him through the sacrifice of Jesus,our sins to abide
For when the time comes that we can take his hand
We must surrender like a child to be saved
By confessing our sins we can cross earthly sand
This is the true meaning of this celebrated day

of nine tails
With open eyes and endless thoughts
I reflect upon the pain in my back
Asking myself why my mind has wrought
Of the whippings for which I did not ask
Each time I felt the stinging pain
I would think of the mother I did not know
Or the loving kindness of my sister
Who in my dreams protected me at each blow
I asked my self back in younger days
Why was I taken away with such haste
Then I recalled as my loved ones would say
I was laying in my own waste
So dear Lord the sands of time has past
and the scars on my body have healed
Yet looking back those fifty years passed
The answers of my crying heart have been revealed.
Cross
to wear my Faith I share
Proudly we wave old glory in view
Showing our support for the women and men
Who have chosen to fight for freedom renewed
In the challenge of the cry for war to end.
Their is another sign we all should wear
That of the Cross on which Jesus died
Did he not die with our own sins to bare
That we may be given life on his sod to abide
Wear the Cross it is the emblem of Faith
That we as God's children should share
It represents all in Jesus name so great
His guiding love and his tender care
Within our Soul a vision lives
That reaches the hearts of all that beat
It is through the Cross of Faith we give
The promise in Jesus name for all the sins of this world to
defeat
Easter Greetings
Easter Sunday once again comes our way
A time of children at laughter and play
As they search on their knees for Easter Eggs
Large and small , pink, blue and reds
Dressing up neat and clean
With colors that make their eyes gleam
Girls in their pretty pink dresses
Boys trying to look smart and impressive
It is also a day for all Christian's to take heed
From every Nation and every creed
It is time to give thanks to our Almighty God
For our Lord Jesus who once walked earth's sod
On this day he arose from the grave
His blood he shed that we may be saved
He is with his Father in Heaven above
Where our Creator blesses us with his divine love

Day
There are many ways to describe a dad
Although we often fail to do
In times of happiness and even times sad
They give their love and protection to you
The hero of cowboy's who wore the white hat
The gunman with the fastest draw
The fisherman with the biggest catch
The greatest pitcher we ever saw
Dad's our protector and provider
Of lasting friendship and personal fame
Men of spirit , sportsman and fighter
So proud we are to share his name
We thank them for their sweat and pain
The sleepless nights we were ill
The clothing on our backs , lessons gained
Chances that we were given our future they helped build

As I wander through my mind of memories,
one special lady comes to my mind.
This kind lady that the word love defines,
who in my growing years was kind to me.
She has taken me from home to home,
through my childhood life to roam.
Wiping away my face to dry my tears,
freeing me of all my doubts and fears.
Standing tall watching all,
Of God's children so tender and small.
A thankless duty but never to ask,
favors for any of her life long tasks.
Numberless people that she has aid,
a gift to her God that she was gave.
Dear Dear Lady of my young life
I thank you for the protection from all strife.

Mothers Day has again returned
To remind us of how we yearn
For the happy times of childhood past
After , from our mothers womb we were cast
Days not so long ago
When to school we would go
She protected us from all the world's harms
These ladies of wonderous charm
Seeing us through our growing years
These loving Mom's with hidden tears
We can never repay them for all they have done
But the love of our heart and soul they've won
So here,s thanking them today
For not letting us go astray
May we always keep them in our thoughts
It is from these mom's time was bought
May the blessing of God follow them through
As they strive under God's great sky
Thank you Mom's for all you've done
Through the blessings of God in the name of his son

Of The Green
While I may not be Irish, I sure can dream
Of that Emerald Isle of green
The land of proud lads and lasses
The pot of gold and the river passes
The Leprechauns with there many tricks
If you want to catch them you got to be quick
The sounds of feet tapping to an Irish jig
Winding through narrow paths breaking twigs
Children laughing and playing in the glen
This my imagination my soul descends
The day for us to wear the green
In celebration of what St. Patrick's day means
On this day be proud of the green you wear
It's a statement that we respect and care
For those who chose America as their homes
These proud Irish with their songs and poems

Reflections
In hopes of a day embodied with God's carress
Of a sky filled with variations of blue
Tiny clouds of white gently puffed
The vision of my soul to come true
The echoe of the church bells filling the air
The seekers of light entering in
Each lady dressed as Like a Vanity Fair
Now listening to the words of God within
Children after church running about in play
Searching for the brightly hidden eggs
Loved ones gathered in reflection of the day
That Jesus arose from the dead
How fitting it is we celebrate with our youth
In combination of truth and dreams
Was it not Jesus that said let the children draw near
This is what to me Easter celebration means
Sharing together with our children this day
A time that will give real meaning in life
The words of the bible and hearts to stay
That he is the way and the light

May God grant you and yours,
his blessings upon your days.
Through your gift there may be added hours,
To show us the light and the way.
It is your gift added to the building foundation,
that will let us share in all the blessings of thee.
For Jesus is the way to the Father of Creation,
To eternal peace where no sufferings be.
So from our Holy being we send to thee,
Our grateful thanks for all you gave.
Let us keep the Faith all souls will be freed
So that they like us can be saved.

The sun rises in the East
To grace us with God's light
Reaping of the Harvest and its feast
From the showering of the sun so bright
Setting in the West at the close of the day
Casting shadows in its path
We kneel on our knees to pray
For the power of God to grasp
Listening to the wind of the North
As nights darkness casts its gloom
The sound of the Norsman's horse
As it awaits for mans doom
It is sad that man will destroy man
By such violence and greed
So let us draw a winning plan

Mother's are a blessing of many variations
They can be Aunt's Grandmother's mother's young
Truly a planned gift of our father of Creation
In our thoughts and deeds they are number one
Through the growing years of their beloved
They have nurtured and wiped away earth's pain
For in their family , they've placed above
Any earthly tidings to be gained
The single red rose represents undying love
For all the teachings they chose to give
For as a rose opens it fragrance flows
It reflects the good life they gave us to live
May the blessings of our Creator be with you all
On this your very special occasion
For truly Mother's have answered life's call
They deserve all the praise for their Faith and Dedication

There are many ways to describe a Dad
For they are Uncle's Step Dad's Foster and Granddad's too
In our youth they kept us from being sad
Teaching us only life's reality and truths
Pulling us back when we chose the wrong road
Supporting us in all life's denials
They helped us to carry our soul's troubled load
Through all our journeys as a child
How I can write with such a spark of real life?
Is by the reflection of what a Dad can give
Through the love of your family teaching them right
This is your being in the faith to others lived
May this Father Day be a special Treasure
For those many dad's so great and true
They are of value to us beyond any measure
For life we now have are but a gift of God and you

Through the years of our lives they gave,
many moments of peaceful nights.
Like the newborn flower at the break of day,
or the first star that shines so bright.
These Ladies have shared their love,
from the moment we were first born.
A beacon of hope guided from God above,
In our hearts they will always belong.
We can never repay them for kindness done,
or the lessons in life they gave

The beauty of birth as it unfolds
